My Year in Review – Free tool

Do you remember when you were at school and you’d get your end of year report with a little summary from all of the teachers about how you performed?  Maybe, like me, you still have a couple and have a good laugh at them, on the odd occasion you stumble across them, while looking for something else 🙂

Now of course you’re all grown up!  You have your own business and you no longer have teachers – or anyone for that matter – that you need to impress.  But it is still the end of the year, and you do still need a review of some sort. 

So in the absence of your teachers… I’m stepping into the breach to help you to review your last twelve months.  To understand:

• What went really well, – things that you need to recognise and celebrate?
• What didn’t go so well – things that you’d maybe rather forget, but know that you need to reflect on?
• What lessons you learned about yourself, and also your business?
• What recurring themes you’ve noticed – maybe mistakes that you keep making year after year?

It’s so important to reflect, to review, to take lessons good and not so good, and use them to inspire you to greater success next year.  It’s an essential part of the continuous improvement cycle: Plan – Do – Review.
