Greetings entrepreneurs!
I am St. George, the patron saint of England, and I am honoured to share with you some valuable lessons that you, as a business owner, can learn from me – a legendary hero.
First and foremost, you must embody unwavering determination. I faced great obstacles and challenges during my life, including the daunting task of slaying a fierce dragon to save a damsel in distress. However, I never gave up on my mission, and neither should you. As a business owner, you will inevitably face obstacles and setbacks, but it is your determination and perseverance that will lead you to success.
Next you must be brave. It takes great courage to face a formidable foe, whether it be a dragon, a competitive market or a disruptive team member. As a business owner, you must be willing to take risks and face your fears. Without bravery, you will never be able to achieve your goals or push your businesses to the next level.
Above all, be chivalrous and honourable. I value treating others with respect and conducting myself with integrity. In business, it is essential to maintain a reputation of honesty and fairness, which means treating employees, customers, and competitors with respect and kindness. Chivalry is not just an antiquated concept; it is a timeless value that can set your business apart from the competition.
And lastly, embody selflessness. I risked my life to save a stranger, and this act of selflessness is a core aspect of my character. In business, it is important to put the needs of others before your own. This means being generous with your time, resources, and expertise. By helping others, you can build strong relationships and create a positive impact on your communities.
As a business owner you can learn a lot from the attributes of legendary heroes such as myself. By embodying determination, bravery, chivalry, and selflessness, you will lead your businesses to success while also making a positive impact on the world around you.
And always remember – the greatest victories are often achieved through the qualities of the heart, rather than the sword.
Yours sincerely,
George
